Note: Deactivating this option also suppresses crash recovery messages that appear with the Home icon. Turn off Show Home icon in menu bar in the Home Screen section of the Interface Preferences or set the MAYA_NO_HOME_ICON Environment Variable to 1. You can now hide the Home button in Maya using a new preference and Environment Variable, if you find its often accidentally clicked. The list of Recent Files displayed at the bottom of the File menu includes two new data points to help you recover crashed files: the name of last file before crash, and the name of the last file saved.
